Background
I have a degree in psychology and studied the coaching Core Curriculum with the Coaches Training Institute. I have also embarked on training as an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique – aka Tapping) practitioner, and have some background in journalism and presentation skills.
I am creative, imaginative, quirky, considerate, playful (definitely!), mildly introverted and highly sensitive to noise, bright lights, humidity and cold and general “busyness”. Paradoxically, I love being in the city as much as by the beach or in nature.
Who I work with and coaching approach
I love to work with people to think! Whether you’re struggling to accept and integrate your sensitivity or you’re a Leader or Leader-in-Waiting who is happy to be an HSP yet yearning for something more, coaching gives you time and space to S T O P and discover who you are, what you value, what really matters to you, where you draw the line and what lines you’re ready to leap over. Thinking but not over-thinking.
To thrive, not merely survive, and feel fulfilled, engaged, liberated and free.
You don’t have to be an HSP to work with me – but I uphold a values-focused, informal, “organic”, intuitive and sometimes playful style. If you’re prefer linear, productivity, performance obsessed goal-focused coach, I may not be the best fit for you.
Compassionate Accountability
That said, I want you to achieve what you’re longing to accomplish and into a life that’s a far better fit for you. So I will challenge you and “hold you accountable” – albeit perhaps more compassionately than some might, coming from the first-hand knowledge of what’s it’s like to be as an HSP.
Either way, I shine a light as you navigate new paths. I offer empathy, warmth, intuition, sensitivity and a playful lightness of touch as you build solid foundations, take off and fly.
